Classes Resume at NCU - Wednesday, February 03, 2010
As hard as I might have tried, I could not have imagined that Spring semester 2010 would have started like this. There were no cordial introductions – no standing and telling to eager listeners my major, hometown, favourite food, favourite animal or future occupation. (I suppose as part of the second half of a year-long course, these regular formalities would have indeed seemed nonsensical.) NCU Houses Biblical Manuscript Research Centre - Thursday, January 28, 2010
Northern Caribbean University’s School of Religion and Theology (SRT) recently held its annual Theological Symposium and the grand opening of its Biblical Manuscript Research Centre (BMRC). This area of specialized study is predicated primarily on the fact that none of the autographs of the Biblical manuscripts are extant and no two copies of the thousands of available copies are exactly alike.

Such massive news coverage cuts across language lines—be it English (coming mainly out of our CARICOM Region, the US and the UK), French (coming mainly out of Canada and France), Spanish (coming mainly out of Argentina, Mexico, Spain and Venezuela), Portuguese (coming mainly out of Brazil and Portugal) or the several other official languages spoken in the European Union (EU).
